More About Division 16 Breakdown

For all of our projects, we utilize the Construction Specifications Institute’s Master Format, known as The 16 Divisions of Construction. This is the most widely used standard for organizing specifications and other written information for commercial and institutional building projects in the U.S. and Canada.

Using Division 16 we internally perform cost competitive pricing with sub-contractors and share these differences with our clients. This is generally done during the Design-Build process, ensuring our place as part of the larger project team, allowing us simultaneously manage multiple budgets and save our clients money.  For each project, we also ensure all our sub-contractors are individually vetted for performance, appropriateness and price.

More About Gantt Chart & Plan Phasing

For project scheduling and plan phasing, we utilize a type of bar chart called a Gantt chart. Gantt charts show project scheduling, individual phases and the dependency relationships between activities and current schedule status. This helps our clients and users better understand how construction phasing will assist them in serving their patients in providing care during construction.
